Scientists are talking about a new technology that would help diagnose
autism in children sooner than ever.
Scientists are talking about a new technology that would help diagnose
autism in children sooner than ever.
New York-based LinusBio has created a test that analyzes a single
strand of hair for levels of lead and aluminum
The researchers put the technology to the test in a recent study, using hair samples collected
from 486 children in Japan
It was shown that he is accurately expecting
the disorder eighty-one percent of the time.
“We can discover the clear rhythm of autism
with about 1 centimeter of hair,”
LinusBio co-founder Manish Arora excitedly
told NBC in a recent interview.
The organization hopes to be able to detect autism early, before
children start missing developmental milestones.
